'Mara Healing' a sculpture by local artist, Siv Grava on a cliff overlooking Waterloo Bay at Elliston, South Australia. According to the artist, Mara is a mythical goddess who has come to the cliffs to help heal sorrows of the past. In early settlement a number of aboriginals were sent to their deaths over cliffs near this spot.
For me personally, I don't feel the artist has captured Mara's sense of healing, she doesn't appear 'motherly' to me, in fact she seems aloof.
