Incredibly the Golden Gumboot which stands at 7.9 metres marks the height of the annual rainfall at Tully for the year of 1953. The strange thing is Tully actually had record floods of greater than 8 metres in 1967 & 1973. So go figure!. Tully , Northern Queensland, Australia.
