Horse & Cart
We called in at the Jondaryan Woolshed near Oakey, Queensland. The museum includes historic buildings, and more machinery equipment than I have ever seen in one place before. It is an open air working museum with demonstrations of sheep shearing, sorting and baling the fleece ready for the market. The museum was established in 1975 to present the history of Jondaryan Station and its role in the development of pastoralism on the Darling Downs. During its heyday the Jondaryan Woolshed held 52 blade shearing stands and employed numerous other workers processing sheep.
